Federal Small-scale Technology Certificates
Eligible small-scale renewable energy systems can receive Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) under the Australian Government’s Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme. Solar PV, eligible solar batteries, solar water heaters and air-source heat pumps may qualify.
STC entitlements depend on the system type, size or usable battery capacity, installation date, location and current scheme rules. Most customers assign their STCs to a registered agent in exchange for an upfront discount shown on the quote.

Solar Victoria Support
Eligible Victorian households may be able to access a solar panel (PV) rebate and an optional interest-free loan. Separate support is also available for eligible hot-water upgrades and rental properties.
Solar Victoria is no longer taking new applications for state battery loans. Eligible solar batteries may instead receive federal STC support through the Australian Government program.

Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU)
VEU offers discounts on approved energy-efficient upgrades delivered through accredited providers. Available activities include heat-pump hot water, efficient heating and cooling, and selected business upgrades such as eligible commercial solar.
VEU is not a general residential solar or battery rebate. The available discount depends on the activity, equipment, property and current program rules.
